Privacy Policy.
Effective date: October 12, 2026. This policy explains what information Everclad Law Group collects through its text-messaging program, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Everclad Law Group, PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses text messaging to communicate with clients who have expressly agreed to receive texts.
Information we collect
For our texting program, we collect your name, mobile telephone number, SMS-consent records, messages you send to us, and messaging information such as delivery status and opt-out requests.
How we use this information
We use this information to send and respond to non-marketing communications, including intake follow-ups, appointment reminders, document requests, and general case-status notifications. We also use it to maintain consent records, honor opt-out requests, and operate our messaging service.
Information sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may provide information to service providers that help us operate and deliver text messages, solely for those operational purposes. SMS consent is not transferred to other businesses for their own messaging programs.
Your choices
Participation in our texting program is optional and is not required to receive legal services. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. For help, reply HELP or contact us at intake@evercladlaw.com or 516.406.9726.
Sensitive information
Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account details, detailed medical records, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary SMS. Contact our office for an appropriate way to provide those materials.
Retention
We retain messaging and consent records as reasonably necessary to provide our services, honor your preferences, and meet applicable legal and professional obligations.
